Booking your online consultation with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist is an easy, guided process that takes place entirely through the Curalife website. The steps below reflect the exact real flow, in the correct order.
Step 1: Click “Check Your Coverage”
You begin by selecting the Check your coverage button on the Curalife dietitian page. This starts the guided visit flow where you answer a few questions before scheduling your session.
Step 2: Select the Main Reason for Your Visit
You will first see the question:
“What is the main reason for your visit?”
You choose the option that fits your goal.
This helps match you with the correct type of dietitian expertise.
Click continue.
Step 3: Select Additional Areas You Want Support With
Next, you see:
“What else can we support you with?”
You may select multiple areas.
This helps your dietitian better understand your needs.
Click continue.
Step 4: Complete the Online Insurance Check
You will see the screen:
“Let’s check your insurance benefits online.”
You enter:
• Insurance provider
• Member ID
• Any requested fields
This triggers an automated background eligibility check.
It is not a diagnosis or a final coverage decision but helps determine your expected cost.
Click continue.
Step 5: Provide Your Contact Information
Next, you see:
“How can we reach you?”
Enter:
• Your email
• Your phone number
This is required for your confirmation email, reminders, and your secure online video link.
Click continue.
Step 6: Schedule Your Online Consultation
You are now taken to the appointment calendar.
You:
Select the date
Select the time
Confirm the appointment
At this point:
• You have not seen any copay or cost yet
• You have not made any payment
• You are simply choosing your session time
The appointment is reserved with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from Beluga Health.
Step 7: View Your Estimated Cost and Complete Checkout
After you schedule your appointment, you are shown your estimated cost based on insurance results.
There are three possible outcomes:
1. Fully Covered
Your insurance appears to cover the entire session.
You will see 0 dollars due.
You simply confirm and complete the booking with no payment required.
2. Copay Required
Your insurance may cover part of the session but requires you to pay a copay.
You will see the copay amount on this screen.
Payment is collected on the checkout page.
3. Not Covered
Your insurance does not cover the session.
You will see the full self pay price displayed.
This amount must be paid in order to confirm the appointment.
Important for all three outcomes
• All payments go directly to Beluga Health
• Curalife does not collect or keep any payment for dietitian services
• The cost shown is an estimate and reflects the insurance result at booking
After reviewing your cost, continue to checkout and complete the final confirmation step.
Step 8: Receive Your Confirmation Email
After the appointment is scheduled and payment is completed if required, you receive a confirmation email containing:
• Your assigned Registered Dietitian, appointment date and time
• Instructions for joining the session
• More important details about your appointment
This email is essential for attending your online session.
Step 9: Reminder Emails Before Your Session
Before your consultation, you receive automated reminders via email and sms. These reminders include the secure online video link again and directions for the appointment.
