Booking a Personal Dietitian ConsultationUpdated 10 hours ago

Booking an online dietitian consultation through Curalife is designed to be fast, fully online, and personalized. Most users complete the process in about five minutes.

Step 1: Answer a short quiz

You’ll start by answering a few questions about your health goals, such as weight management or blood sugar support.

This helps personalize your experience and match you with the right registered dietitian.

At this stage, we collect:

  • Your health goals

  • Insurance provider and basic details

  • Contact information

Step 2: Insurance eligibility check

After you enter your insurance details, an eligibility check is run automatically and in real time.

Most users see $0 out-of-pocket for their dietitian sessions. In fact, approximately 95% of users receive a $0 result based on their insurance coverage.

Possible outcomes:

  • $0 out-of-pocket for dietitian sessions
  • Co-pay
  • Not covered (self-pay option shown)

There is no waiting, and no phone calls or emails are required to see your result.

Step 3: Personalized program offer

Based on your goals and eligibility result, you’ll be shown a personalized nutrition therapy offer that includes online sessions with a registered dietitian.

Step 4: Book your consultation

You’ll select a time that works for you using an embedded scheduling calendar.

Your appointment is booked online and confirmed instantly.

Step 5: Secure credit card collection

Before your appointment is finalized, you’ll be asked to securely add a credit card.

This card is collected only to:

  • Cover a copay or patient responsibility, if applicable

  • Apply a no-show or late cancellation fee, if the appointment is missed

No charge is made upfront. Your card is charged only if needed, according to the displayed policy.

Step 6: Confirmation and reminders

After booking:

  • Your appointment is confirmed immediately

  • Reminder messages are sent before your session

In some cases, insurance eligibility may be rechecked before the visit. If your coverage result changes, you will be notified.

You can reschedule or cancel your appointment directly using the links included in your reminder messages.

Step 7: Attend your session

At your scheduled time, you’ll meet one-on-one online with a licensed registered dietitian who will:

  • Review your goals and relevant context

  • Provide personalized nutrition guidance

  • Share clear, actionable next steps

Step 8: After the consultation

After your session:

  • You’ll receive a summary and recommendations

  • A follow-up booking option may be provided

Depending on timing and insurance requirements, follow-up appointments may require a new eligibility check. When required, this is completed online before confirming the next session.
