Curalife offers online dietitian consultations that are covered by insurance for most users. In fact, the majority of patients see $0 out-of-pocket for their consultation based on their insurance plan.

How eligibility works

During booking, you enter your insurance information. An eligibility check is completed in real time using available insurance data.

This is an automated check. It does not require phone calls, emails, or manual review, and results are shown immediately during the booking process.

Coverage results you may see

After selecting your appointment time, one of the following results will appear:

• Covered at $0 

• Covered with a copay

• Not covered

Coverage is determined before your appointment, so you know what to expect in advance.

Important to know

The eligibility result shown during booking reflects your coverage at that time and is used to determine your expected cost for the consultation.

Curalife stands behind the eligibility result shown at booking. 

If your result shows $0 out-of-pocket, your consultation is honored as free.

No payment is collected during booking, regardless of the eligibility result.

Payments and provider

If a copay or patient responsibility applies, it is handled separately after the insurance determination.

All dietitian consultations are provided by licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) employed by Beluga Health.

Curalife enables booking and eligibility checks but does not provide the clinical service and does not retain any portion of consultation fees.
