Why is a credit card required for a $0 consultation?Updated 14 days ago
Many patients notice that we ask for a credit card during booking, even when their consultation is covered by insurance.
This is normal and does not mean you will be charged.
A card is kept on file only to:
- Apply a copay if required by your insurance
- Apply a no-show or late cancellation fee
- Handle rare coverage changes that are communicated in advance
We verify your insurance benefits in real time before booking. If your result shows $0, we honor that.
If we show that your visit is free, it will remain free. We stand behind the coverage result you see during booking.
